A Passion for Fishing
A PB that Hooked Me
April 4th, 2023 marked the 17th anniversary of the day that I met the love of my life. I never knew what I was missing until I held her in my arms. When I first locked eyes with this big beautiful girl, I didn’t realize what I had in my hands. I never would’ve thought that we’d still be going strong as ever & that she would always be the one that never left my house which ironically turned my house into a happy home. 😂😊
The King of Saline
The man who taught me how to fish. My grandfather, Thalmas Racine Sr. who provided guide services for nearly 20 years. His crappie catching technique led to him being featured in multiple articles published by Louisiana Sportsman magazine. He was a guest of Nick Jorgensen on his TV show “Outdoor Adventures” after teaching Mr Jorgensen all he knows about crappie fishing. He was a local legend because of his innovative ideas that developed his approach that produced thousands of crappie annually.
“Paper Trained”
Here is a link to my Facebook page where I posted photos of a Louisiana Sportsman article. “Paper Trained” was published in November of 1998. My grandpa was reaching more people helping them to put food on their plate from his innovative techniques that made him great. He found so much success with a fishing niche because back then his techniques really didn’t even exist but he was determined to catch more fish because he had to do that to fulfill his wish.
Stompin Up Sac-A-Lait
Louisiana Sportsman magazine published this article ”Stompin Up Sac-A-Lait“ about my grandpa Racine back in March of 2001.
I look forward to the day that together we catch some Sac-A-Lait!
He Is The One To Talk To
A reference given about my grandfathers knowledge of catching crappie & rebuilding motors.
